The Northwest Community’s Most Eligible Benefit is an annual event which raises money for the Junior League of Eugene to directly support our two signature projects, A Caring Place and A Caring Response in the hard work they are doing to help Lane County’s foster children and families. This benefit is in its second year.

Review our Sponsorship Levels for 2009 JLE’s Most Eligible Event

Up to twenty-four participants sponsored individually or by their employers will be competing for the title of “Northwest Community’s Most Eligible” in one of the biggest social events for professional single people in the Eugene/Springfield area. The judging criteria are as follows: first impressions, community involvement, accomplishments, leadership and communication. The contestant sponsorship fee is $300.00

Northwest Community’s 2nd Annual Most Eligible Benefit, Contestant Call!!

Have you excelled in your professional career or in a volunteer position? Have you given back to the Eugene/ Springfield community? Do you think you have what it takes to be Northwest Community’s Most Eligible?

If you said yes to all of the questions above, the Junior League of Eugene wants you to prove it!

Professional singles of all ages are welcome to apply. Only 24 preselected, sponsored applicants will be able to “strut your stuff” before a celebrity judging panel. Don’t worry; judges will want to know how much the contestants care for our community, not how fantastic the contestants look in evening or swimming attire. There will be no public speaking, and this is not a beauty contest.

Then, on February 7th at McDonald Theatre, Junior League of Eugene will crown Northwest Community’s 2nd Annual Most Eligible and dance the night away to the ultimate fun party band, Cherry Poppin’ Daddies.

And, while we are having fun, we will be giving back to Lane County’s foster children and their supporting families through the signature projects of the Junior League of Eugene; A Caring Place and A Caring Response.

It will be the event of the season and the community will be watching!

Interested? Potential Contestants can review application requirements here:
